Web-Based Technology
The first MPSI Web product was deployed in 2001. Today we maintain over 2,500 active user accounts around the world for seven different web applications housed on multiple servers. We provide 24/7 support and monitoring of our Web application servers. Daily back-ups are performed on all of our servers allowing for quick recovery. Detailed and regularly scheduled Web server and database server maintenance is completed by certified IT personnel. Stringent security procedures and technology are in place allowing customers to know their data and plans are kept in strict confidence.

Secure Environment
Ensuring a secure environment is a top priority for our Web applications. The following provides a brief overview of the security measures that are in place.
Secure transfer of data — We use SSL (secure socket layer) in all of our web products to protect the information that transmits to and from our products. In fact, the entire application is always running under an SSL connection and not just during the login process.
Multi-layer hardware firewalls — Our firewalls provide the first line of defense between the Internet and our hosted environment. They perform multi-layer filtering on every data packet coming into our network to ensure that the contents are not infected or falsified by an attacker.
Secure database servers — All client data is stored in a highly secure database server none of which can be accessed without first going through an application server.
Specific IP Address Lockdown — We can set up access to our Web application such that a specific IP address is required. This means an employee can be required to use a PC at work and not allowed to access the application from home even with the proper credentials. This is an optional feature.
Tested and approved by third-party security testing firm — At a random time each year, an unbiased, third party company specializing in Internet security assesses our security infrastructure and protocols. This testing has approved our online environment for secure transactions.
Security certified IT professionals — MPSI’s web servers and environment are under the watchful care of an experienced team of IT support members, each of whom are Microsoft Certified IT specialists trained and tested on implementing, testing , monitoring and responding to IT security challenges.
